Life’s Heart Update – August 2024

Blessings to All,

Life’s Heart is serving in Kenya now. The local baboons greeted Tim on his way to Bomas. After a few days of rest and meetings with the Sisters, William the borehole well guy and our friends Simon, Patrick and Vincent, the group left Nairobi to go to the outlying villages. In Narok town, medical supplies were purchased.  At the Mother Teresia VanMiert School in Narok, the 8th Grade classroom site was blessed, dedicated and construction started. Life’s Heart has 2 boreholes well projects happening now. The first borehole well at Iladoru has presented new challenges as they believe an underground river has been drilled into. The waterspout has been shooting up in the air for over 30 days now! The plan now is to turn the flow into storage tanks. The second borehole well site Kasiole is surrounded by mountains. Both villages held community meetings where prayer and blessings were shared. The villages will have a community pick up point, water for a local school and a health clinic, and livestock trough will be provided. The orange, mango, avocado and banana orchards are producing an abundance of fruit. The maize harvest was very good at Narok too.  Everyone is very grateful and blessed.

Life in Kenya is challenging. Hopefully the attached pictures will give you a glimpse of life there. Please include Life’s Heart and Tim in your prayers.

Mungu awabariki! God Bless You ✝️

Marcia
