Blessings to All,
Life’s Heart was represented by Tim at a house-warming celebration for a local Government official. He was able to meet briefly with the Governor of Narok County. There was a huge crowd of Maasai people singing and dancing at the celebration. Daniel, the local MCA Maasai official, was able to arrange the meeting. Life’s Heart has worked with Daniel in the past, but this is the first time Tim was able to meet with a higher official. They had heard stories about the Mzungu Maasai.
The next day Tim traveled to the Iladoru borehole well for the dedication and opening of the well to the community and school. This is the borehole that had a huge waterspout that flowed for 3 months before it could be tapped properly. The celebration included speeches, prayers and the turning on of the water. Plus capes for all! Another day of Blessings!
Tim spent a few days in Nairobi meeting with William, our WilMag welling drilling owner and Sammie, an Agricultural specialist. He had an enjoyable evening and delicious meal with Sr Susan at Otiende. He also made a trip to Kijabe to meet with Patrick and our Life’s Heart patients. There are two very interesting cases that Patrick is dealing with now. One is a serious snake bite, and the other is a deformed ear plus a couple of our patients are malnourished. Prayers would be especially appreciated for Jeremiah andTipapa debe. Many Blessings!
After one last look at the maize crop he boarded the plane and flew back to the USA! He was greeted with cold weather and snow!
